“Scandal” actor turns himself in

Scandal star Columbus Short turned himself in after an order for his arrest was issued last month, the International Business Times reported on Friday, August 22.

His court date was set to settle a domestic violence incident involving his wife, Tanee McCall-Short, which happened in their residence on April 7. His wife accused Short of pinning her on the couch and choking her before threatening her with a knife. Short resigned from the show Scandal after allegations surfaced.

Initially, instead of facing the charges, he skipped the court hearing and fled to Barbados.
