What is supervised visitation, and can my child custody agreement be modified to include it?

In some situations, courts may only award a parent supervised visitation rights. What this means is that the parent will not be allowed to have exclusive access to visitation with their child, but will instead be supervised in some form. Supervised visitation may take a number of different forms, including one-on-one and group, among others. Depending on the circumstances, it may be possible to have your child custody agreement modified to allow you or your spouse supervised visitation with your child.
