Soccer star Hope Solo arrested over domestic violence charges
Fox Sports recently reported that .U.S. soccer goalkeeper, Hope Solo was taken into custody on Saturday, June 21, on multiple charges of domestic violence after allegedly hitting her nephew and her sister.
In a statement released by the Kirkland police, authorities have received a call about a female “hitting people” at around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. Police responded to the scene and found evident injuries on Solo’s sister and nephew. After the initial investigation, the police concluded that Solo had initiated the situation and was the primary attacker.
Hope was detained into the south King County detention facility on two misdemeanor counts of fourth degree domestic violence. Meanwhile, legal counsel for Hope stated that she is not guilty, and added that Hope was assaulted and had also sustained injuries during the fight.
