Ms. Ruchita Sethi earned her law degree from University of Calcutta, South Calcutta Law College, and practiced for three years as an Associate Attorney before moving to the United States. She then obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, and was admitted to practice law in California in 2014.
She is a member of the Domestic Violence Conference Planning Committee (Santa Clara County Domestic Violence Council), and a member and Co-Chair of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, Family Law Section’s Social Committee. She has completed the 40-hour training in the Essentials of Mediation and Divorce Mediation (Northern California Mediation Center), a 40-hour basic mediation training (County of Santa Clara, Dispute Resolution Program), and the 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocacy training at AACI. She is fluent in Hindi, Bengali and understands Punjabi.
Prior to joining Law Office of Daniel Jensen, Ruchita served as a Supervising Attorney (Family Law) and Project Coordinator for Mediation-Negotiation-Settlement Project at Pro Bono Project of Silicon Valley and a Contract Associate at Law Offices of Nicole Ford. She also did her internship as an Attorney Intern at the Self-Help Center/ Family Law Facilitator’s Office, Superior Court, County of Santa Clara. Her practice primarily focuses on Family law and Mediation.
