Forty-four-year-old Italian-born American chef and television personality Giada Pamela De Laurentiis and 52-year-old fashion designer Todd Thompson are divorcing after 11 years of marriage, De Laurentiis confirmed in a Facebook post last Monday, January 5.
In the post, reported on San Jose Mercury News, De Laurentiis said that the decision to divorce was saddening, but their paths will always be interconnected, especially as they share a six-year-old daughter, Jade Marie.
The Food Network star also revealed that she and husband Todd have been living in separate homes since July of last year. However, she has yet to divulge specific details regarding the planned divorce.
