Could marijuana be to blame for Brad and Angelina’s divorce?

Forty-one-year-old actress Angelina Jolie Pitt recently filed for divorce from 52-year-old actor Brad Pitt, concluding a two-year marriage that was part of a 10-year relationship.

According to a recent report by entertainment news network TMZ, “Angelina became ‘fed up’ with Brad’s consumption of weed and possibly alcohol, and mixed with what she believes is an ‘anger problem’…felt it became dangerous for the children.”

A report from Vulture.com says that Pitt has been associated with some “stoner” roles, such as in the 1993 black comedy, Quentin Tarantino-penned True Romance. The state of California is a state where a “no-fault” divorce is allowed. That is, a spouse can file for divorce and not list any specific grievance, such as adultery or abandonment, to get the divorce petition approved. Jolie filed for full physical custody of the children – 15-year-old Maddox, 12-year-old Pax, 11-year-old Zahara, 10-year-old Shiloh, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Marijuana use can serve as a factor when deciding who deserves custody.
